The Isle School District will be starting its GED program for adults to obtain an equivalency high school diploma. The program will begin September 11, 2004, and will run through May.  The classroom will be open on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.  (Other options are available upon request)

The General Educational Development (GED) Program allows the adult learner to obtain an equivalency diploma.  This credential is recognized as a key to job opportunities, advancement, further education and financial awards.

Upon successful completion of the five test subjects, a high school equivalency diploma is awarded by the Minnesota Department of Education.

Preparation classes are available to help the adult learner prior to the test session.  (Help is also available for those adults who have their GED or high school diploma but want to brush-up in a particular skill area for their own enrichment or as a way to help their children with homework.)
